A Speculative Space
A Speculative Space is a 3D virtual reality game that offers an immersive experience in a mysterious Chinese government facility, Zhongnanhai, often regarded as the "heart of the country". Zhongnanhai is highly secretive and guarded, housing top leadership and playing a central role in political decisions, yet it remains largely inaccessible to the public. The facility in the game is primarily reconstructed based on online rumors, hearsay, and a few leaked images, blending fact and fiction to create an atmosphere of intrigue and speculation.
The game challenges players to question what lies behind the walls of power and secrecy, offering a unique opportunity to imagine the inner workings of one of the most closely guarded facilities in the country. By engaging with the game’s speculative world, players may feel a sense of power and authority as they reflect on the issues surrounding political systems and transparency.

Game Design
The protagonist is a participant in the "Conveyor Challenge".
Goals
1. To score points by successfully jumping over obstacles along the conveyor belts. Players must time their jumps accurately to dodge each obstacle and earn points. Additionally, the player must avoid colliding with falling or moving obstacles that can cause hurt and reduce score points. Players can achieve higher scores and unlock new challenges by mastering leaping and dodging.
2. Stay On Track: Another important objective is to ensure that the player character remains on the conveyor belts and doesn't fall off

Abilities
Movement
Players control the protagonist with the keyboard. By pressing the A key, the protagonist moves towards the left side of the screen, while pressing the D key moves him towards the right side.
Jump and Double Jump
The jump is triggered by pressing the SPACEBAR. While in the middle of a jump, the protagonist will jump further with a Double Jump when the player presses the SPACEBAR again.
Push Movable Objects
The protagonist can push movable objects (indicated by their blue color) when she approaches them on the belts.

Story
The player takes the role of an AI Turing tester, immersed in the monotonous task of evaluating the authenticity of test subjects' humanity through chat conversations. However, everything changes when a unique test subject captures the protagonist's interest. As conversations deepen, curiosity awakens within the protagonist, prompting her to delve into the hidden secrets of her job and the enigmatic company that employs countless testers. The protagonist's choices hold the power to shape her destiny, unveiling different paths and fates that lie ahead.

Story
"Dreambound: Hotel of Nightmares" is set in a mysterious hotel where reality and dreams seamlessly blend together. The protagonist, a small ghost, embarks on a journey through the haunting dreams of the hotel's guests. Trapped in an unending cycle of nightmares, the ghost is determined to unravel the deepest fears that bind both the guests and themselves to these unsettling dreams.
During the night, the ghost ventures into the vivid dreamscapes of the hotel's guests, searching for the key to ending these nightmarish experiences. As the ghost delves deeper, they uncover the secrets that connect the guests' fears to their own existence, breaking free from the clutches of the haunting dreams.
By day, the ghost explores the hotel's corridors, utilizing their ability to manipulate objects and uncover vital clues that hold the cure to these nightmares. The ghost must remain hidden, evading detection and ensuring their mission to heal the nightmares remain covert.
Characters
Protagonist (Ghost): The protagonist is a small, ethereal ghost with a playful nature. It has a glowing, blueish appearance. With the ability to interact with the environment, it manipulates and moves objects.
Hotel Manager: The hotel manager is stern and authoritative, responsible for maintaining order and ensuring the comfort of the guests. With a professional appearance, an air of authority. The manager is observant, making it challenging for the ghost to carry out their haunting activities.
Hotel Housekeeper : The cleaner is a hardworking individual responsible for keeping the hotel tidy and presentable. She has a keen eye for detail. She may serve as an unexpected obstacle for the ghost, detecting and interrupting their mischief.
Hotel Guests: The hotel guests are diverse in their appearances and personalities. They range from nervous and easily spooked individuals to skeptical and rational thinkers. Each guest has their own unique fears and vulnerabilities, providing the ghost with a variety of challenges and opportunities for scares.
Puzzle Mechanics
Puzzles require the player to analyze and interpret the fears of each guest. The ghost searches for clues within and out of the dreams and manipulates the dream environment to create solutions. Puzzles may involve rearranging objects, decoding symbols, solving riddles, or navigating through complex dreamscapes. The puzzles gradually increase in complexity.
Protagonist Movements or Abilities:
During the day, the ghost protagonist possesses the unique ability to float, see and pass through walls, granting them the freedom to explore the hotel. They are also adept at manipulating objects within their environment. However, they must remain vigilant and avoid detection by the hotel's inhabitants.
During the night, the protagonist can select a specific room and enter the dream of its occupant. Within the realm of dreams, the ghost temporarily loses its ability to float and phase through walls, becoming trapped in the dream world. In order to break the cycle of nightmarish experiences, the ghost must interact with various objects, manipulate the dream environment, and confront the fears that haunt the dreamscape. By obtaining vital clues and eliminating the sources of fear, the ghost can help free the dreamer from their torment and bring an end to the nightmares.
